Our Commitment

Tanzania Cybersecurity Association (TCSA) seeks to promote Cybersecurity Awareness and create a Conducive Environment where Professionals, the General Public, Private Industry, Government, Non-government, International Entities and Relevant Stakeholders can work together to address Cybersecurity Issues and improve Tanzania's Cybersecurity Posture.

TCSA affirms its commitment to the principles of integrity, professionalism, and competence in the practice of cybersecurity while adhering strictly to ethical standards and legal regulations across all aspects of cybersecurity services.

TCSA seeks to promote the advancement of cybersecurity knowledge and skills through education, training, projects, research and development, collaboration and information sharing with the aim to foster innovation and creativity in the development of effective cybersecurity solutions and solve ever-evolving cybersecurity challenges.

Our Mission

To bring together all Cybersecurity professionals to have one voice while raising Cybersecurity awareness in Tanzania and to promote collaboration between Tanzania and other countries in matters related to cybersecurity and empowering the Tanzanian community and Cybersecurity professionals.

To be nationally recognised as a peak body for Cybersecurity professionals, provide inclusive collaboration, technical know-how and knowledge sharing among Cybersecurity professionals and the community and provide effective solutions to the dynamic challenges facing individuals and organisations in the field.

Our Objectives

To promote cybersecurity awareness and to create a conducive environment where the general public, private industry, educational institutions, government, non-government, business and international entities can work together to address Cybersecurity issues

To provide an ongoing forum for learning, sharing best practices, knowledge, skills, experience, ideas and innovation in the cybersecurity field.

To facilitate and evolve data and cybersecurity best practices and systems, including research and development

To help organisations reduce identity theft, financial crimes, fraud, and unauthorised access to information systems and data, empowering and educating individuals and families to take more informed steps to protect their information.

To educate organisations and the general public on reducing unwanted, unauthorised or illegal electronic communications.

To develop the knowledge, skills and capacity of those working within or alongside the industry.

To build and maintain relationships between individuals and organisations within the industry.

To advise the Government on the development of policy, law and legislation relating to cybersecurity.

To support services available for members and cybersecurity professionals within Tanzania.

To foster collaboration among cybersecurity professionals in Tanzania and the international community to find innovative solutions and address cybersecurity issues.

To carry out consultancy services on matters related to cybersecurity

To undertake any other activities as the Association may from time to time consider desirable.
